Xiaomi is back in the premium smartphone market with newly launched Mi 10T Pro but this is not truly premium smartphone because it doesn’t have most of the premium features. The phone has some impressive features which you won’t find below 40k, so let’s review the Mi 10T Pro and see whether it’s worth the 40k price tag or not?
Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro India Price
Mi 10T Pro is priced at Rs 39,999 for 8GB of Ram and 128GB storage. It’s available in Cosmic Black, Lunar Silver, Aurora Blue colour option. You can buy Mi 10T Pro from Flipkart and Mi.com/in websites.
Mi 10T Pro Display Quality

I’m not a big fan of an LCD display and when the phone is priced at 40k and still, it comes with LCD penal then it’s straight no from my side, I don’t care whether it has 144Hz refresh rate or not. That’s all me, maybe LCD display won’t be any problem for some people but if you don’t like LCD display then don’t waste your money here.
That said, Mi 10T Pro does have 6.67 inches FHD+ LCD penal with 144Hz screen refresh rate. The display quality is good on this phone but when you’re watching YouTube videos or movies, you will see grey colours here and there because LCD panel won’t give you as is it colours like AMOLED or OLED panels.
Now, if you’re not picky about the display’s then you won’t notice any difference between AMOLED and LCD penal but if you want the best display then I would say, AMOLED’s are better and at 40k, I think LCD is not the best option to go with.
As of now, there is no use of 144Hz display because there are no games available at 144Hz. I think 90HZ is the sweet spot because it won’t drain the battery too much and you can actually play some 90Hz games.
Overall, Xiaomi has used good quality display but its’ LCD panel. There won’t be any problem in display, you can even play games under the sunlight or use a phone without any problem.
Mi 10T Pro Design and Build Quality

Build - Glass front (Gorilla Glass 5), glass back (Gorilla Glass 5), aluminum frame
The Mi 10T Pro comes with Glass front (Gorilla Glass 5), glass back (Glass), aluminium frame. So yes, Xiaomi didn’t compromise in build quality as they did with the display. Xiaomi didn’t mention which type of glass they have used on rear side but it’s glass, so can’t complain much here.
Also, if the doesn’t have the wireless charging support then it’s good to give metal uni-body rather then giving glass back because glass doesn’t make any sense if the phone doesn’t have wireless charging.
Talking about the design, here I can’t say much because it depends on a user by user. Some people will like what Xiaomi has launched and some don’t. About me, I loved, I think Xiaomi has done a good job in design.
Overall, Build quality is great on this phone but it’s glass uni-body, so be care full and use good quality case.
Mi 10T Pro Cameras

This has support for 8k@30fps without any kind of stabilization that means you will either need gimble or tripod to get best out of it and also 8k TV to see how the video quality. Let’s be practical, most of the people don’t even have 4K tv or monitor, so for now, there is no need to have 8k recording. Also, it can also shoot video in 4k@30fps which is bummer because @60fps is normal these days.
At Rs 39,999, I can’t really complain about the cameras but hey, Xiaomi could have done it a good job, if they wanted to. In short, Mi 10T Pro doesn’t have the best cameras in this price tag. It doesn’t matter whether Mi 10T Pro has 108MP primary sensor, Xiaomi needs to optimized the camera with OTA updates.
Pixel 4A takes battery images then Mi 10T, now, you will know, how is the camera quality of Mi 10T Pro.

The Mi 10T Pro also doesn’t have the telephoto lens, they have gone with 5MP macro lens which most people don’t use it. I just want wanna thank Xiaomi because they have at least give 13MP ultra-wide lens.
Also, Xiaomi used pixel binning, that means by default the phone will take 25MP images but if you want 108MP images then you have to use Pro option. Frankly speaking, I didn’t see a huge difference in 25MP vs 108MP but still, it’s good to have more pixels.

Night mode photos look pretty good, however. The Mi 10T Pro was able to capture a lot of light in pitch-black darkness. I took a photo of a tree between houses in the middle of the night. The phone was able to pick up detail in the tree as well as both houses.

Mi 10T Pro Performance

We have seen Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Processor in many smartphones and now, I think, I don’t have to say, how powerful this chip is. Still, if you don’t, you can play pretty much every single game which is available on play store without any problem and as this phone support up to 144Hz, the phone can do anything you want.
Also, there won’t be any frame drop at 144Hz, you can use 144Hz screen all the time but keep in mind, when you use 144H refresh rate, the battery will brain very fast. So I would say, 90Hz would be sweet spot but still, if you want smoother experience then use 144Hz but be ready to charge the phone every day.
AnTuTu: 563961 (v8)
GeekBench: 3311 (v5.1)
GFXBench: 46fps (ES 3.1 onscreen)
Overall, if you want fastest phone at mid-budget price range then don’t look for anything else, just go with Mi 10T Pro. Also, it has 5G support.
Mi 10T Pro Software

Mi 10T Pro is running on MIUI 12-based on Android 10 and it will get Android 11 very soon but when no one knows. For the record, the phone has ads in the UI that means if you use stock apps like Music, theme store or any other apps by Xiaomi then there will be ads here and there. Sometimes, Xiaomi could place ads in the setting Manu or anywhere else in UI.
This is the reason I don’t buy Xiaomi’s smartphones, for once, I can think about to get Xiaomi phone below 20k but at 40k, never. When you buy a premium smartphone, UI must be good because you will see your smartphone screen every day but if you’re not happy with UI then there is no point, no matter how good smartphone is.
Never the less, some people do like MIUI and I’m not one of them. So if you want non-ad UI then Mi 10T Pro is not the phone for you but if you’re okay with complicated UI and ads then just grab Mi 10T Pro from Flipkart or Mi.com/in, right now.
Mi 10T Pro Battery and Audio Quality

Mi 10T Pro comes with 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The phone will last for a day but if you use the 60Hz refresh rate then it may last for two days. Also, it will give about 6 hours of continues gameplay. I don’t say much about battery life because it depends on a user by user, so if you’re normal user then 5,000 mAh battery could last for two days but if you play games then it can even finsh in 6 hours.
“the battery life depends on your phone use if you every day play games for 6 hours then you need to charge a phone in every 6 hours but if you’re like me and don’t use the phone very often then it will last for a day or so”
Audio Quality
The phone has stereo speakers which sound really good, it’s also load, so there is nothing to worry about. I also took some calls and I haven’t found any problem while talking. Overall, sound and call quality is good on this phone.
Mi 10T Pro: Verdict
Mi 10T Pro is value for money device, it has great build quality, triple 108MP cameras, Solid build, huge 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, 144Hz screen refresh rate and it’s priced at Rs 39,999. The phone has everything that you can think of, so yes, Mi 10T Pro is worth buying.

Excellent main camera performance, a macro camera that makes sense.
Stereo speakers setup.
Good price/performance ratio.
Mature, feature-rich and smart MIUI 12 with granular control over refresh rate.
