OnePlus had rolled out the OxygenOS 12 update a couple of days ago, but it was pulled back due to glitches and bugs reported by the customers.

OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro will get OxygenOS 12 update once again. The smartphone company had rolled out the update a couple of days ago, but it was pulled back due to issues of glitches and bugs reported by the customers. Many users had complained that their phones had stopped functioning properly after they updated their phones to OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro. However, OnePlus has decided to roll out the update yet again.

The new Oxygen OS update is marked C.39, whereas the previous version was marked as C.36. If you had installed the C.36, you should install the C.39 version immediately as the update will fix the bugs and glitches you have been facing in your phone. OnePlus seems to have addressed the issues that were spotted in the previous version of the OxygenOS 12.

“OxygenOS 12 was released recently for the OnePlus and 9 Pro. Your reviews and feedback about it have been received and delivered to the product team at once. As always, we value them deeply and immediately started working on releasing an update to solve the issues you were facing. In this build, we concentrated on solving the issues that were most reported recently, including the failure to connect to the mobile data in certain scenarios, phone notifications not being visible, freeze issues, some display problems, etc. This update has reached a few users already and will continue to roll out incrementally,” OnePlus said in its community page.

OnePlus has fixed the auto-fill feature in Chrome and the temporary lack of access to the Ultra HD 48M / AUX camera on GCam. The company has improved the smoothness of fingerprint locking, optimised system power consumption, fixed the issue of screen tearing when back to the home screen in some games, Android Security Patch to 2021.12. It has also improved a couple of camera features like the image effect of the rear camera, startup speed of the application among others.

The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro were the first smartphones to have received the OxygenOS 12 update, the first after OnePlus and Oppo announced merger. However, soon after the new OS was rolled out, it was met with complaints from users who experienced bugs and glitches, such as customisation options, network issues, or general build stability issues, so the company decided to pull it from the market.
