Internet Desk: Domestic online retail market giant Flipkart has acquired another company. Acquired Scopic, a company that provides augmented reality services. This was announced by Flipkart. The company did not disclose the value of the deal.

Scopic provides cloud based services. AR is useful for publishing 3D content. It currently provides services to e-commerce and marketing companies. "We have invested in the development of the retail ecosystem. Through content and experience, we try to make it easy for our customers to get what they need, ”said Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO of the company. Through this deal, Flipkart will get 100% stake. That said, the board will then give the opportunity to talented designers and developers. The company says it will try to improve the virtual stores, brand advertising and camera experience.

Scopic was launched in 2017. That same year Flipkart also acquired intellectual property rights to Hello Play from gaming startup Mech Mocha. As part of this, the company's gaming team will join Flipkart.
